Anshuman is a Partner in K Law’s Dispute Resolution, Banking and Finance, and Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice groups, advising clients on commercial litigation, international and domestic arbitration, and mediation. With several years of experience, he has a strong track record in high-stakes disputes in sectors such as aviation, banking, construction, energy, engineering, FMCG, logistics, manufacturing, multiplex, NBFCs, real estate, telecom, and textiles.
He has represented both Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and private clients before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and District Courts, National Company Law Tribunals (NCLTs), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Debt Recovery Tribunals (DRTs), Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunals (DRATs), and the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC).
Anshuman also has extensive experience handling ad-hoc domestic arbitrations and international arbitrations governed by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules, reinforcing his expertise in cross-border dispute resolution. With his sharp legal acumen and strategic approach, he continues to be a trusted advisor on contentious issues.
- Successfully represented Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd under the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) Rules in arbitration proceedings against a Southeast Asian sovereign government in a dispute worth USD 100 million
- Successfully represented the Airports Authority of India before the Delhi High Court in a writ petition seeking to quash a tender of national importance
- Represented National Textile Corporation before an Arbitral Tribunal in a dispute worth INR 400 crore regarding the modernisation and revival of one of its largest textile mills run under a JV
- Represented Axis Bank before the Supreme Court of India as an intervener in proceedings concerning the winding up of a large hospitality conglomerate due to investment irregularities
- Successfully represented Reebok India Company Pvt Ltd before the Delhi High Court in a commercial suit for recovery of dues with interest against a multimedia and trading company
- Successfully represented Axis Bank before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Delhi, in recovering over INR 135 crore from a high net worth individual
- Represented Jammu & Kashmir Bank in pan-India litigation in disputes ranging from INR 50 crore to INR 1,000 crore before various High Courts, DRAT, NCLAT, DRTs, and NCLTs
