Prior to joining K Law, Chinthan was a Patent Consultant Lawyer with AMD Law Group (USA), an Associate with Krishna and Saurastri Associates and Product Testing Engineer with Invendis Technologies.

He has prepared briefs and argued before the Indian Patent Office, drafted patent applications and responded to office actions (in India, USA, Europe, China, Singapore, Australia, Japan, etc.), conducted prior art, infringement, invalidity, patent landscape, due-diligence, freedom to operate searches and prepared opinions regarding the same, and also prepared and filed revocations, pre-grant and post-grant oppositions and assisted senior counsels with infringement analysis for numerous clients. He has also managed patent portfolios of small and large technology companies.

He has also advised clients on IP-related matters in complex mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions.
